Add Buffer to Google+
May be out of your scope.. but wow this would be awesome for google+!
3,062 votesGreat stuff with G+. It is high up on our list and we are just waiting for Google release their write API for us. We have already gone ahead and built this out partly, hope Google+ gets onto this soon! :)

give the option to tweet at a random time within window.
To make the output seem a little less automated, a "randomiser" would add a little humanity
1,494 votesHey, thanks for all the great responses here. We are definitely looking into this option right now. We are pondering a few things on making the “random” window “intelligent” based on your followers too at the same time. Stay tuned!

allow to add in the time independantly, please!
I'd like to be able to choose what time I post a tweet, as opposed to it automatically going to the next scheduled tweet time in my schedule
835 votesHey Fathima, thanks for the great suggestion. We are looking into this option right now and are going back and forth on it. I will keep you posted here of course, if we decide to add it!

Option to delay tweets in buffer if user already tweeted around that time.
If the user is already tweeting around the buffer timeslot, add an option to delay tweets (logic could be if tweets detected within 30 minutes, then delay 30 minutes, etc.). This would reduce the problem of too many tweets at once.
658 votesHey David, thanks for the suggestion. We are definitely looking into how we are able to solve this problem right now. One thing that helped me, is to switch to simply Buffering everything, so I don’t get confused with it. I will see if we can brainstorm on this.

Add LinkedIn Company sync
Add the opportunity to post to the LinkedIn company page from buffer
640 votesHi Alex and everyone for voting on this,
That’s a terrific suggestion, we haven’t looked into this yet too much yet, though adding LinkedIn company pages makes a ton of sense. I will keep you posted!
Please give me a shout any time here or on Twitter @bufferapp! :)

autocomplete @mentions when buffering article
autocomplete a mention when buffering a new article in the browser to quickly find someone on your follower list, so you can mention them in the tweet
563 votesHey Paul, thanks for the great suggestion. That’s definitely something we are looking into. It would be very powerful and efficient to just have the @mentions suggested. Stay tuned.

Pricing, maybe one more cheaper option?
I'd personally love to see something like $3-$5 for 20 in buffer without any of the other 'special' items.
538 votesHi lisa, thanks for the suggestion. We are certainly pondering a few things on our pricing right now, I am not sure we are going to change anything soon, I will keep you posted here for sure though!

A button to add new tweet at the beginning of the buffer, not just at the end.
Similar to the "Post Now", a new button called "Post Soon" that will post the new tweet on the next scheduled time, not at the end o buffer.

Offer the ability to tag other pages in Facebook pages using @, to expand the reach of each post.
Buffer is very attractive. However, I'd rather be inconvenienced posting on Facebook, if I know my post will reach more people with the ability to including multiple tags/mentions per post.
310 votesHi Jessica and everyone for stopping by to vote,
That’s a great suggestion and we are looking into this right now. I think it would absolutely be great to be able to tag people and it would make sharing a lot more useful. This is very high up on our list, I will be sure to keep you posted on this here!
Please feel free to give me a shout here or on Twitter @bufferapp any time! :)

Detailed Analytics
A detailed page for analytics showing the progress of tweets overtime, others interaction with those tweets, how you're tweets from this month compare to last month, followers, etc. There are analytics for each tweet but we don't get to see how those tweets compare overtime.
284 votesHi guys,
That’s a wonderful suggestion. I believe making the analytics more actionable and powerful can really help to make sharing a lot smarter
We aren’t quite focused on this right now. So one thing you might want to try is checking out bit.ly Pro (it’s free). You can then connect your bit.ly account to Buffer very easily from http://bufferapp.com/settings and every one of your links will show you some fantastic insights about the performance.
Hope that is useful, give me a shout anytime here or on Twitter @bufferapp! :)

Have three otpions: 1. Post NOW, 2. Add to Buffer and 3. Add at next schdueld time.
A post would be Buffered at the next scheduled time and the rest of the Buffer would simple shift down.

Integration with Tweetbot iPhone app
I would love the ability to Buffer RTs or tweets themselves from other Twitter apps on iPhone. I mention Tweetbot because it is the one that I use and love.
228 votesHey Wayne, great to hear from you and thanks for the heads up. That’s a great suggestion, it would be awesome to be able to Buffer from TweetBot. One thing, that might help to make it happen easier is to Tweet them @tweetbot and express your interest. Will also do my best and reach out to them. :)

Support Twitter's native retweet feature
Support Twitter's native re-tweet feature, which explicitly tracks re-tweets and allows retweeting the full 140 chars - instead of the current hack of "RT " followed by an @mention followed by part of the original tweet.
211 votesHi Graham,
That’s a great suggestion and we are looking into this right now. I think it would absolutely be great to be able to retweet natively and I think it’ll be very powerful also. This is very high up on our list, I will be sure to keep you posted on this here!
Please feel free to give me a shout here or on Twitter @bufferapp any time! :)

Allow usage of personal URL shorteners like YOURLS.
Would be good to be able to use a personal URL shortener service rather than BITLY. For example, I have my own service using the YOURLS software.
186 votesHi Pete,
Thanks a lot for stopping by here and that’s a terrific suggestion. Adding other URL shorteners is definitely something we want to do, it is at the moment not quite what we focus on!
I will keep you posted in this thread for sure thought as soon as we get to it! :)
Please feel free to give me a shout here or on Twitter @bufferapp any time! :)

allow bulk upload to buffer via .csv
Dear Joel,
I really am a big fan of the Buffer app (altough its a 'service' :-) ) and a proud pro user. It's worth every dime!
Now on a current case, I am looking for the ability to buffer some 140 tweets in bulk. It would be great if I can upload them as .csv , or maybe copy-paste them as list somewhere.
Would this be possible?
I am currently not seeing any negative side-effects this could cause.Hope to hear from you!

Love Buffer, need Tumblr, Pinterest & Wordpress
I'm really digging Buffer so far. Gonna vet it for a few more days before I sign up ($10 a m/o is totally reasonable). Here is my wish list:
1) Post to Tumblr
2) Upload photos and publish them naturally on the other sites (to Facebook photo gallery and as a Tumblr photo, for example)
3) Post photos to Pinterest
4) Google+Profiles & Pages of course, even though this will never happen because they are jerks.
5) To self-hosted Wordpress blogsDo all of the above, and I will become your #1 evangelist!

add an option to add to start of buffer
I don't want to faff around with setting times for each of my buffered tweets, but what would be useful is being able to add a tweet to the start of my buffer, rather than the end of by buffer as is the current functionality.
This is especially useful for the android share app and the browser extensions where there may be something very relevant that I would like to tweet in the next time slot, rather than in a couple of days.

"Put on first" Option
When I use the Browser-Plug-In to send content to my buffer I'd love to have some kind of "put on first position" oder "tweet next" option. Since I sometimes have important content that needs to be sent as soon as possible but not wanting to "post now".

integrate Buffer within web apps like Hootsuite
Or use the browser extensions to somehow work with Hootsuite.
So as an example, if I am looking at my stream in Hootsuite, and I want to retweet someone's tweet, I want to add that to buffer from within Hootsuite.
