Great stuff with G+. It is high up on our list and we are just waiting for Google release their write API for us. We have already gone ahead and built this out partly, hope Google+ gets onto this soon! :)

give the option to tweet at a random time within window.
To make the output seem a little less automated, a "randomiser" would add a little humanity

Hey, thanks for all the great responses here. We are definitely looking into this option right now. We are pondering a few things on making the “random” window “intelligent” based on your followers too at the same time. Stay tuned!

This is a great suggestion and also very high up on our list. For now, I have good news as we have done an integration with Twitter analytics dashboard SocialBro. They analyze your followers and when they are online the most and you can then set those times inside your Buffer with the click of a button. Check out all details here: http://blog.bufferapp.com/how-to-post-your-tweets-at-optimal-times

I’m strongly considering this since others have asked for it, and I can see real value in being able to have some Tweets which you repeat over time. Thanks for the suggestion :)

Option to delay tweets in buffer if user already tweeted around that time.
If the user is already tweeting around the buffer timeslot, add an option to delay tweets (logic could be if tweets detected within 30 minutes, then delay 30 minutes, etc.). This would reduce the problem of too many tweets at once.

Hey David, thanks for the suggestion. We are definitely looking into how we are able to solve this problem right now. One thing that helped me, is to switch to simply Buffering everything, so I don’t get confused with it. I will see if we can brainstorm on this.

Add Reeder Support
It'd be nice to be able to post to Buffer from Reeder.

Great suggestion here. We are certainly planning to integrate with Reeder as soon as we can. One thing that can help to achieve this faster is to Tweet them @reederapp and suggest it, that would rock! :)

allow to add in the time independantly, please!
I'd like to be able to choose what time I post a tweet, as opposed to it automatically going to the next scheduled tweet time in my schedule

Hi Hunter :)
I think this is a great idea, and you’re not the only one who’s asked for it. I think for the moment I will concentrate on making Buffer a superb product for people to effectively use Twitter, but in the future it may well make sense to support Facebook too. I didn’t call the product anything related to Twitter ;)

Track "RT" Retweets
It seems like Buffer is only tracking the twitter way of Retweets and not "RT" Retweets.

Hey Gaurav, thanks a lot for the suggestion. This is definitely something that would be very useful. With the new analytics dashboard we have built, you should be able to pick up @mentions as “RT @username” quote Tweets already.
Otherwise, we are certainly looking into how we can solve this technically, it is not something very high on our list at this point though. Stay tuned!

Pricing, maybe one more cheaper option?
I'd personally love to see something like $3-$5 for 20 in buffer without any of the other 'special' items.

Hey Paul, thanks for the great suggestion. That’s definitely something we are looking into. It would be very powerful and efficient to just have the @mentions suggested. Stay tuned.

Pull in an RSS feed (like Twitter feed) and add the items to my buffer
It would be great to be able to automatically add items to my buffer via RSS feed, and be able to have many RSS feeds feeding it. It's a hungry buffer that must be fed!

Great suggestion with this one. There is already a great solution that you can use this exact feature. We have partnered with ifttt.com to allow you to pull in RSS feeds and Buffer them. Check out this guide to set it up: http://blog.bufferapp.com/ifttt-and-buffer-team-up-top-5-ways-to-use-them-together

Add option to NOT shorten links.
Not all links need to be shortened. In fact, some shortened links ruin the experience on Twitter. For example, I like to post Flickr photo links to Twitter. In their native form or even using the shortened flic.kr links, most twitter clients (Tweetdeck) and phone App streams will allow you to view the photo from the twitter stream, rather than clicking the link and waiting for a site to load only to find out the photo was lame or X-rated. The automatically shortened j.mp links force Twitter users to click the link, resulting in far less views. So in short,… more

Detailed Analytics
A detailed page for analytics showing the progress of tweets overtime, others interaction with those tweets, how you're tweets from this month compare to last month, followers, etc. There are analytics for each tweet but we don't get to see how those tweets compare overtime.

Share option for Fan Page posts
I could be doing something wrong, but I noticed that posts to our facebook fan page only have the options to "Like" and "comment", but there is no option for people to "share" like when posting directly to FB. This would be great to see.

Hi there,
Yes, you raise a great point, unfortunately, the fact that the “share” disappears is a slight bug on the FB API that we are dealing with right now, but hope to have resolved real soon. We have filed a few reports (alongside hundreds of other developers) to allow the “share” function in.
Unfortunately, all other Apps have the same problem. One thing that we could do is add a “fake” share function, which HootSuite does. It then pops open a new window, but doesn’t add a “share” to the original post, it is just a link to post to your own wall. We are pondering this right now, but it doesn’t seem to be a great solution for us.
I will get in touch with Facebook again right now and see if there is a way we can get this sorted out, thanks a lot for bringing it… more

Posts to Facebook with a link should preview that link's page content or video, as it does when you post directly on FB. (Hootste does this)
If I were to add a post/status update on Facebook, which included a link, Facebook would automatically generate a preview of whatever that link goes to (webpage, blog post, video) so that the status update shows images, embedded video, blog post review text etc. Hootsuite and many other social media management tools use this functionality so that when you create a status update in their programs, it still takes full advantage of the previewing feature that Facebook uses.
Unfortunately, Buffer does not. When I add a link to my Facebook status update from within Buffer, no preview will appear on… more

Allow usage of personal URL shorteners like YOURLS.
Would be good to be able to use a personal URL shortener service rather than BITLY. For example, I have my own service using the YOURLS software.
