I suggest you ...

allow to add in the time independantly, please!

I'd like to be able to choose what time I post a tweet, as opposed to it automatically going to the next scheduled tweet time in my schedule

Hey Fathima, thanks for the great suggestion. We are looking into this option right now and are going back and forth on it. I will keep you posted here of course, if we decide to add it!

I like to load up my buffer in advance so I always have things to tweet but something are time sensitive so I would like them to tweet at some point that day. For example a tweet about a sale. I should have the option to "buffer" and "buffer today"

Add this, and I'd upgrade to paid.Otherwise, not worth it. Also: one-click hold button for all accounts, so we can instantly suspend scheduled tweeting when it'sappropriate. (eg, in the hours after the Boston bombing).

Definitely could use this, especially since many of Buffer's competing products have added Buffer-like functionality to their products, and I'd rather not split our efforts between two tools.

It'd be really awesome! I have to tweet reminders of deadlines constantly, so I need to be able to tweet on a precise date in the future. Currently I have to use Hootsuite and Social Sprout to do that.

I can understand hesitating about this kind of feature because it is philosophically different than the concept of a buffer. However, I see tremendous value in both concepts. I love being able to queue up posts in buffer, having set my preferred schedule and know they'll go out as the schedule rotates. At the same time, communicating for a large nonprofit I frequently need precision in timing as well. If some posts could be scheduled according to a calendar (as in specific dates and times in the future), and others just added to the standard buffer, that would be amazing. I currently have to do this manually or with Hootsuite, though I much prefer buffer to either of those options. This is a great app/service!

This would've been great for Christmas, getting that perfect timing for Christmas wishes...

Delaying tweets by date and time would work perfect for my needs. Sometimes I plow through hundreds of articles in GoogleReader or in Instapaper and don't want to overwhelm my followers with a flood of content all at once. Imagine a content cue (100+ articles, links, etc.) from which Buffer would pull 5 articles, links, etc. and post them at scheduled dates / times.

i completely agree. I like Buffer but I like to create some posts a few days ahead....I really don't want to use Hootsuite again.

Has there been any progress on this? This is something I am really hoping for.

it's a must. with one of the FB page I manage, I'd like to set up a post each Friday at same time. It's a specific post. I guess it would be amazing for business to schedule offers on a specific date too.

For those of us who do event promotion this would be invaluable. For example, to tweet reminders we are doing X at time Y and a link to a Facebook Event page or an Eventbrite page when it's something we are selling tickets to promote.

I would love this as well. There are days when my buffer is full but I want to squeeze in another timely Tweet. My UI suggestion would be to allow the times a message is scheduled to fire to be changed by simply clicking on the time on the left hand side and entering a new time. (Instead of clicking on the times to change the schedule). Once a time is changed to no longer be one of the scheduled times, reschedule the items after that one into their new positions. This would help me immensely!

I would subscribe to this service if this option was available. I don't feel comfortable putting out the money without having this option of controlling the times for each post. I have no desire to use a set schedule, even it you can vary it for each day.

I would absolutely love this! It would make our marketing campaigns so much easier - ie we could schedule a black friday sale post for 11/23 today

This option is so important. I'm users will be willing to pay more for this investment in the service. You should be able to send set the time schedule for each individual tweet.

        3 options of buffer:
        1. posted now
        2. go to buffer respecting the schedule (actual option)
        3. go to buffer and tweet at xxx hour (only for one time)
